A lot is going on under the hood with Squadhelp’s new marketplace option.
SquadHelp announced its new white label marketplace option today. It enables domain investors to create their own marketplace of domain names.
I wasn’t excited when I first read about this. There are several options out there for creating a marketplace for your domains. I’ve never been a fan of this because I find it unlikely that someone will land on your marketplace, search for a domain, and buy it.
But Squadhelp buries the lede with its announcement. What the white label marketplace really lets you do is set up great landing pages for your domains with added features and low commissions.
When you add domains to your white label marketplace through Squadhelp, you get:
I talked about this new platform and how domainers can use Squadhelp’s tools with Squadhelp CEO Darpan Munjal on this week’s DNW Podcast.
You can see the marketplace I set up here.

This have the potential to shake things up. A welcome move.
Wondering if SquadHelp also offers the ability to lease or buy-on-installments like DAN does (I mean up to 5 years)?
Can you upload your own logos for your domains (or do you have to buy from SH)?
Looking forward to try it out.

They default to 3 and 6 month payment plans, so not nearly as long.
You can’t upload your own logos. While disappointing, the company gave a good reason: it needs to make sure it has valid rights to the logos, especially since it includes the logos in ads it runs. It would be taking on liability by allowing third-party logos.

I like the idea. One obvious criticism of the landing page is that it ought to indicate the domain is for sale somewhere above the fold. Just visited the example domain you gave and it did not.

They could do with a better branding, tech seems custom built and robust. Focus however in this clutter is not seen – too many options…mix of BrandBucket (low end with contests) all the way to Efty (landing pages) …but a great start (been around 8+ years and never heard of them)

Wow, congrats to Darpan and SquadHelp for this significant innovation.
I’ve just built my site (DomainRoom) and yes, it was fast and easy. The only challenge for me was to change the A Records – simply because I’ve never done that before
So I have about 100 names listed of which almost 20 are classified as “Premium”. So these already had logos provided by SH.
The rest are “Basic Plus”… but almost all of these also have logos because I purchased them separately (another great recent innovation).
I’m going to try adding some non-SH listed domains soon.
One of the most exciting features is described on the SH site:
“Your listings will be searchable on Squadhelp.com in a newly created section (different from Premium Domain Marketplace).”
This alternative domain shop concept has enormous potential.
